Many of the popular classic red and white varietals that you are familiar with come from the Bordeaux region of France. The region is known for exemplary pure expression of these varietals. Bordelaise style wines and varietals have travelled to other parts of the world and have inspired their winemaking traditions. During this casual tasting, we will be showcasing 6 wines made from Bordelaise varietals or styles, with one stipulation: they can't be from Bordeaux.
