Thursday: Caviar Night. Enjoy featured pours and sips with the purchase of a tin of Sturia caviar, as well as $40 spoonfuls of Sturia Oscietra caviar.
Saturday: Whiskey Night! Did you know we have one of the largest whiskey collections in Richmond? Enjoy half price pours on select whiskeys after 5 pm on Saturdays.

Sensory Tasting: Primary Notes
Jenna and Amber are bringing the Sensory Tasting back, but this time in a new format! A sensory tasting is an exploration of all the ‘things’ we talk about when we talk about what a wine tastes like. If you’ve ever wondered how that happens or how you can channel your own inner somm and taste like a pro, this event is for you. We’ll be running this as a seminar from 11 am - 3 pm on both Saturday and Sunday, July 25 and 26. Your ticket includes the sensory tasting experience, as well as lunch from our bistro! We’ll be tasting lots of wines, and of course, you’ll be getting your world-class education from our team.
Tickets are $200 per person.
Producer Tasting: Honig
We can’t wait to give Gavin Honig of Honig Vineyard & Winery a warm welcome to Wine Whisperer. Part of a family legacy that goes back to the 1960s, the Honig family are pioneers in Rutherford (Napa Valley), and when it comes to Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon, they are experts. Amber has been selling their wines since the early 2000s and may be the most excited to welcome them to the shop. This tasting will be $10 at the door and free for wine club members.

Cheesemonger Returns: Spain
Join Amber in the Whisper Room for a tour of the cheeses of Spain. We're going to criss-cross the Iberian Peninsula with some of the best-of-the-best that Spain has to offer. We all know Manchego and Drunken Goat, but have you had Garrotxa or Valderon? Have you ever Idiziabal or Mahón? This is your chance! Join us for a cheese tasting (complete with a few sips of wine!) with for our friendly, neighborhood Cheesemonger!

Lambrusco Dinner
Join us on Tuesday, July 14 for a fun wine dinner centered on Lambrusco! Now, this isn't your grandmother's version of Lambrusco... we're excited to show off the sparklings from Paltrineri, one of our favorite Italian wineries. Dylan, our newly minted Food & Beverage Director, has put together an incredible menu that will have your taste buds dancing. Seats are limited. $100 per person (plus tax and grat). 50 Shades of Rosé
We're about to make all of your pink wine dreams come true! Join Jenna in the Whisper Room for an expansive tasting of our 2025 rosés. We'll have a full range of wines from the palest of pinks to the deepest of magentas. Not all rosés are created the same, and this will be one of the best ways for you to find the rosé that best fits your palate. By the end of the session, we'll have you seeing through rosé colored glasses!

Cheesemonger Returns!

Judgment of Paris Tasting
Join Jenna in The Whisper Room as we offer our own spin on the infamous Judgment of Paris Tasting held in France in 1976. At this blind tasting 50 years ago, for the first time, California wines were presented alongside fine French wines and took top billing. The results upended the wine world and set California alongside other acclaimed winemaking regions. Jenna will be hosting her own Judgment of Paris tasting to see if, 50 years later, the results are the same. Seats are limited.

Winesday - Producer Tasting
We love when we’re able to welcome producers in for Winesday, and we’re thrilled to have some of the best of both Napa Valley and Bordeaux. This Winesday, we’re featuring Cathiard Vineyards from Napa Valley and Château Smith Haut Lafitte from the Pessac-Léognan appellation of Bordeaux. As always, Winesday tastings are casual, running 5 - 7:30. The tasting is $10 at the door or free for wine club members!
Producer Tasting: Brenae Royal of Violet's Paradise
Join us as we welcome Brenae Royal of Violet's Paradise to the Virginia market! This casual tasting will run from 5 - 8 pm and feature four wines from her boutique label and a few small bites from our bistro. All of Brenae's fruit comes from the historic vineyard she's worked in for over a decade: Monte Rosso.

Collector's Tasting: Grenache - The Grape of Many Names and Places
Join Jenna in The Whisper Room for one of her highly anticipated Collector’s Tastings, this time focused on Grenache! A grape of many names and faces, Grenache is like the undersung hero of the collector’s world. It does so much heavy lifting in so many places, often without the high praise it deserves. She’ll take you from the rocky vineyards of Rhone to the old bush vines of Australia and everywhere in between. While we market these as Collector’s Tastings, they are meant for any one who wants to dig deeper into our nerdy world. Seats are limited. $75 per person.
