Five Generations, One Very Good Wine Story: An Evening with Joe Glunz

Some families pass down recipes. Others pass down jewelry, furniture, or a slightly questionable collection of holiday decorations. The Glunz family? They've been passing down a love of wine for more than 130 years. And we think they've got the right idea.

We're delighted to welcome Joe Glunz of Glunz Family Winery & Cellars to The Wine Whisperer for a special evening exploring the wines, vineyards, and stories behind this remarkable family operation.

The Glunz family's wine journey began in Chicago in 1888, and five generations later, they've made their home among the rolling hills of Paso Robles, California. Today, they're crafting beautiful, small-production wines that celebrate some of the Central Coast's most exciting vineyards, with a particular affection for Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and a few very lovely whites.

Joe will be joining us to share a selection of the family's wines, along with the stories that make them special. Expect delicious pours, a little California sunshine in your glass, and the chance to spend an evening with someone who has wine quite literally in his DNA.
